People call me many things. Some go for the obvious "Laryssa". Many call me "Rys". A few call me "Lala". Others, "reeses", "reeses pieces", or "Lareesa". Yet, no one calls me "casserole", the nickname which gave birth to this here LJ, my email address (casseroleoi at hotmail!), and my ancient "thecasserole" website at Geocities. No, sir, the name "Casserole" no longer is associated with me in any way, save for how you may contact me and get to know me online. Now, I can see how this may upset all the people who truly wanted to be known as just plain old "casserole" at livejournal-- people passionate about cooking unnatural mixtures of old noodles and leftover meats-- and to them I say: Shall it upset you further to know I have no knowledge of how to cook a casserole? I don't even enjoy eating casseroles!
This is like creating the screen name "Switchfoot" without any knowledge of the band or their music, and this is rather appalling, so I can truly imagine how distraught all of you casserole-lovers must be over my idiocy and apathy surrounding the dish. My final charge to you is this: Better luck finding yourself a "casserole" handle on Xanga, Blogspot, Myspace, Facebook.
